Bland Shire Library aims to get senior citizens in our community better connected, enabling them to discover a whole new social experience on the web and to help them to stay in touch online with friends and family, along with offering access to the wealth of information available online. Bland Shire Library's Seniors Computer Kiosk comprises several computers with broadband access for use by older members of our local community and offers support to those who are new to computers and the internet. Tech Savvy Seniors helps seniors to stay connected with families, friends and communities. Tech Savvy Seniors is held in the Bland Shire Library every Tuesday from 10am - 12pm (excluding school holidays). No bookings required.
Our Home Library Service is a FREE service catering to members of the West Wyalong community who are unable to visit the library in person due to their elderly age or a disability. To enquire about our FREE Home Library Service, contact library staff on 02 6979 0272.
For seniors aged 65 + years. The free one-hour program aims to keep seniors' minds active. Participate in a variety of easy fun mind games and brainteasers including word and picture puzzles, quizzes and much more, all while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee with friends.
