The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Sewer and Waste Services Engineer to join our regional Council in the Riverina area. This is a brand-new, full-time role.

• An experienced Environmental Scientist or Civil Engineer or someone who is looking for a step up in their career.

• A positive mindset that can recognise and appreciate knowledge of current staff and implement new ways of doing things for the benefit of the community and Council.

• Someone who has natural management and leadership skills and is self-aware of their behaviours.

• Someone who can inspire a team by demonstrating leadership qualities and build a sustainable team for the future.

• Be willing to learn new skills in the role and accept that Council has some work to do in some areas and can adapt to this easily.

• Understand the importance of community in this role and be willing to build strong relationships with the community and external stakeholders.
